Fauquier Cowboy Church - We endorse the Southern Baptist Convention STATEMENT OF FAITH (go to SBC Statement of Faith online to peruse)
We believe in a church where you and your family will feel welcome, loved, and comfortable no matter who you are. We believe church should be a place where your friends gather and where you can make the rest of your life, the best of your life. We believe church should be fun, authentic, and encouraging. We believe that we need to share these values with various communities throughout the surrounding regions of Northern Virginia. We exist so you can connect with positive. life. change.
Our preaching and teaching is grounded in Scripture, informed by Christian tradition, enlivened in personal experience, and tested by reason.
Morrisville United Methodist Church welcomes you! We are a small, growing, community church located a few miles south of Bealeton, VA just off Route 17. Please join us for worship, study and service opportunities as we seek to grow in our love of God and neighbor.
Presbyterian & Lutheran
The congregations of St.Thomas Lutheran (STLC) and Bealeton Presbyterian (BPC) agreed to form a combined Christian Community to share in the mission and ministry to which God has called us. Together our worship and music, youth ministry, Christian education, fellowship, and outreach to the community are enhanced. We are known as PALS (Presbyterian And Lutheran Services).
Church-Southern Baptist
Although we like to think that we have a non-denominational feel, SPCC enjoys the benefits of networking with the Southern Baptist Conservatives of Virginia (www.sbcv.org) for the purpose of cooperative missions. We have chosen not to have Baptist in our church name because we welcome anyone to attend our services and most who attend report that we are not a typical Southern Baptist Church. We try to focus more on representing Jesus well than on waving our Baptist connections.
St James Baptist Church is considered to be the oldest African-American Baptist Church in Fauquier County. St James Church was organized by the founding pastor Leland Waring from Spotsylvania County, Virginia. St. James Baptist Church was originally known as the Foxville Church after the nearby settlement of Foxville. A few streets in the area still reflect this heritage in their names. The congregation first met in a brush arbor in 1866, and as progress was made, a permanent building was erected for worship.
Whether you are new to Orthodox Christianity or are visiting from another Orthodox parish we warmly welcome you to join with us, and we would be honored by your visit.
